Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
This policy explains what information DesignGrid collects, why we collect it, and how we handle it. The short version: we collect what we need to run a proofing platform, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t run third-party advertising or tracking.
What we collect
Account information. Name, email address, and a hashed password for shop staff, customers, and operators. Customer accounts also record which shop they belong to.
Content you upload. Garment photos, logos, artwork, designs, proofs, comments, and messages exchanged between a shop and its customers.
Operational records. Proof activity (submissions, approvals, change requests), notification and email delivery logs, and session records that include IP address and browser user-agent for security purposes.
How we use it
To operate the Service: rendering mockups and proofs, delivering notifications and transactional email (such as proof updates, verification links, and password resets), keeping shops’ data isolated from one another, securing accounts, and providing support. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Who can see your information
A customer’s designs, comments, and messages are visible to the staff of the shop they work with. Shop staff information is visible to their shop’s team. Platform operators can access shop data for support and administration. Beyond that, we share data only with the service providers that host the platform — cloud hosting, database, file storage, and email delivery — under agreements limiting their use of it, or where required by law.
Cookies
DesignGrid uses only essential cookies — session cookies that keep you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. See Cookie Preferences for details.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. Deleting a design removes its artwork and proof history; deleting an account or shop removes the associated records, after which residual copies are purged from backups on a rolling basis. You can request deletion at any time — see Privacy Rights.
Security
Passwords are stored hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit, and each shop’s data is scoped and access-controlled per account pool. No system is perfectly secure, but we design for tenant isolation first.
Changes and contact
We will post any changes to this policy here and note the new effective date above. Questions? Contact [email protected].
